General Info

Please provide at least 1-2 references of the character, pose, outfit, and other details you'd like to be included. Written descriptions are appreciated. The more detail you provide us, the better!We will NOT design a character or outfit from scratch unless specified in the service details.We have the right to refuse a commission if we are uncomfortable or not confident enough to accommodate the request. Payment is required before the initial sketch is completed. We will NOT continue work on the commission until the payment has been sent.Once work has begun and a WIP has been sent, we will not give a refund. However, in the case that we are unable to complete your commission, a refund can be arranged.We will NOT accept any big revisions after the refined line art stage.

Communication

Our art process has 4 stages: sketch, line, base color, and shade/render. We will contact you after each stage to get your input and approval before continuing.Communication will be done in VGen DMs unless specified elsewhere in the request form. Please be responsive to any updates and messages we send, especially if you have a deadline. Feel free to ask for updates and we'll do our best to get back to you ASAP.

Timeline

Keep in mind that RinRobou is a team of two people. Thief handles account management and base color while RinJ is in charge of sketch, line, and shade/render. Work completion and updates may be affected depending on what is going on irl for the two of us.It will take at least 1-2 weeks minimum, depending on how many other commissions we have. Check out the Work Queue on our profile to access our Trello board where we post commission updates.

Rush fees are determined based on how soon you would like our work upon sending the proposal. The sooner your deadline, the higher your rush fee will be.

Usage

You are not allowed to alter and claim the commission artwork as your own, use it for a NFT and the like, or for AI training. Upon discovery of any of these prohibited acts, legal action will be taken and you will be added to our blacklist.Commissions are primarily for personal use and are okay to post/use as icons, banners, etc. on social platforms as long as you credit us, "@rinroboustudios". Please mention commercial usage (monetized content, merchandise) in your request prior to proceeding with the commission so we may discuss commercial fee.We have the right to post and include your commission on our portfolio.
